The Engomi Street Fest returned on Saturday, 29 November, bringing festive cheer to 28th October Avenue as Mall of Engomi and the Municipality of Nicosia officially kicked off the Christmas season. From morning until evening, visitors enjoyed a vibrant celebration filled with music, creativity, and community spirit.
Throughout the day, guests explored a lively Christmas Market featuring handcrafted gifts and festive treats, while children participated in creative workshops, crafts, and storytelling sessions. Live music by Hermaphrodite’s Child set the festive tone, filling the avenue with energy and holiday spirit. The atmosphere was further enriched by festive characters and street performers, who filled the area with color, joy, and memorable moments for families and friends.
As night fell, the festival reached its highlight with a captivating fire show followed by the official Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The ceremony brought the community together in a warm and magical moment that beautifully marked the start of the holiday season.
